North Landing, Flamborough
Local highlightNorth Landing is a sheltered cove of sand and pebble below the chalk cliffs on the north side of Flamborough Head, long used as a slipway for the local cobles — the traditional flat-sterned Yorkshire fishing boats. It’s a fine spot for rock-pooling and a scramble round the coves at low tide, with a cafe and car park up top and steps down to the beach. Watch the tide, which cuts off the far coves.
