Bridlington is a cheerful harbour resort with a wide sandy bay and the usual seaside works, but its real surprise is the Old Town set back from the front — a street of Georgian and older houses around the Bayle gatehouse and the priory church. The station is central. Sewerby and the chalk headland at Flamborough are along the cliffs to the north.
