Kingsgate Bay is a small sandy cove between Broadstairs and Margate, with a natural chalk arch at its northern end and a mock-Gothic folly, Kingsgate Castle, on the headland above. Steps lead down to the sand, which is covered at high tide. Broadstairs station is about 3km to the south.
