Salen sits on the north shore of Loch Sunart where the Ardnamurchan road branches west, a small hub with a marina, an inn and woodland walks through the oaks along the loch. It’s the natural pause before the long single-track run out to Kilchoan. Reached via the Corran Ferry and the A861.
