The Corran Ferry is the short car-ferry hop across the narrows of Loch Linnhe, and the quick way into Ardgour, Morvern and Ardnamurchan without the long drive round the head of the loch. It runs regularly from Corran on the A82, south of Fort William. Worth checking sailing times before you set off — it’s the gateway to a big, roadless chunk of the west coast.
