A glass-fronted Finnish sauna on a wooded hilltop at Woodlands Glencoe, looking out over Loch Linnhe to the mountains
Save this place
The sauna was made in Finland and sits on a small hill in the Woodlands Glencoe estate at Ballachulish, with a wide window facing the loch and hills. Day visitors can book as well as people staying on site, and there are shared early-morning sessions aimed at locals. Each hour-long session takes three people, or four at a squeeze. Cool off in the plunge pool or under the bucket showers.
