Glencoe Visitor Centre
Local highlightThe National Trust for Scotland’s centre on the edge of Glen Coe is the place to get your bearings before heading into the glen. Exhibits cover the geology, the wildlife and the notorious 1692 massacre of the MacDonalds, and there’s a cafe and shop. Staff can point you towards a walk to suit the weather. It’s on the A82 near Glencoe village.
