The Tailrace Inn is the village pub in Kinlochleven, named after the outflow from the hydro scheme that once powered the town’s aluminium works. It’s a well-earned stop on the West Highland Way, roughly a day short of Fort William, with food, ales and rooms for weary walkers. No railway here — the nearest is Fort William, about 15km away.
