Come to Dymock in early spring for the wild daffodils, which still colour the fields and lanes of this quiet fruit-growing corner near the Herefordshire border. Before the First World War the village drew a circle of writers — the Dymock Poets, among them Edward Thomas and Robert Frost — who walked and wrote here. Ledbury is the nearest station, about 7km north.
