Croyde is a thatched village behind a golden surf bay, busy with board-carriers in summer and backed by the walkable headland of Baggy Point. It sits between the big beaches of Saunton Sands and Putsborough, with Georgeham just inland and Braunton a few miles on. Barnstaple station is about 13km to the south-east.
