Crackington Haven is a small cove on the north coast, hemmed by some of the highest cliffs in Cornwall — High Cliff, just to the south, rises to around 220m. There is a sandy beach at low tide, a car park and the Coombe Barton Inn by the shore. The South West Coast Path runs both ways along a demanding, empty stretch of coast.
