Crackington Haven is a small cove ringed by some of the highest cliffs in Cornwall — High Cliff, just to the south, drops around 220m to the sea. The Coombe Barton Inn faces the beach across the shingle, a low old inn built some 300 years ago for the captain of the local slate quarries. Picture windows for the view, and the coast path climbs away in both directions.
