Out on Glebe Cliff, just south of Tintagel’s castle headland, St Materiana stands alone above the sea — a largely Norman church on an exposed site with little else around it. It’s open to visitors, and easily worked into a walk to the castle or along the coast path from Tintagel. No railway comes near; Bodmin Parkway is about 25km inland to the south.
