Clachtoll has two things worth the drive: a small white beach on the Stoer peninsula, and a well-preserved Iron Age broch on the shore nearby, excavated in recent years. It’s a crofting township on the single-track B869, with a campsite by the sands and good swimming if you’re hardy enough for the water.
