Clashnessie is a wide bay of pinkish sand on the Assynt coast, set between Stoer and Drumbeg on the single-track B869. It’s a quiet spot with a waterfall walk up the glen behind, and far less busy than the better-known Assynt beaches. Close to the turning for Stoer Head Lighthouse and the Old Man of Stoer.
