Yesnaby is a stretch of storm-battered Old Red Sandstone cliffs on the west Mainland, layered and undercut into geos, blowholes and stacks. The slender Yesnaby Castle sea stack is the pick of them, a short clifftop walk south from the car park. It’s a favourite place to watch big Atlantic swells pile in — but the cliff edges are sheer and unfenced, so take real care near them.
