The Orkney Fishermen’s Society is a Stromness co-operative that lands and sells fresh Orkney crab and shellfish, much of it brown crab. It’s a working seafood business rather than a place to visit, but its shellfish is a mainstay of local menus and shops — well worth seeking out on a plate while you’re on the islands.
