World’s End earns its name: a wooded dead-end vale at the head of the Eglwyseg valley, hemmed in by towering limestone cliffs and reached down a single narrow lane that splashes through a ford. There’s an old timbered hall house at the bottom and open moorland above. Roadside parking, open access, and a fine walk on up onto the moor.
