One of the traditional Seven Wonders of Wales, Llangollen Bridge carries the road over the River Dee on four pointed stone arches in the middle of town. A crossing has stood here since the Middle Ages, widened and altered over the centuries, and it still takes traffic today with the river tumbling over rocks below. The steam railway platform sits right alongside.
