Waterstein Head
Local highlightA high sea cliff above Moonen Bay in Glendale, out towards Skye’s western edge near Neist Point. At over 290m it’s one of the finest clifftop viewpoints on the island, looking down on the Neist Point lighthouse and out across the Minch. There’s no path as such: it’s an open hillwalk up from the Neist Point road, straightforward in good weather but exposed, so pick a clear day.
