Snug Sauna stands just off the path to the right of the free Fountain Head car park at Seaton Sluice, as you face the beach. It’s a wood-burning sauna seating five for community sessions, and cooling off means a walk across the sand to the North Sea. Rosie, who runs it, also takes private hire, and Holywell Dene and St Mary’s Lighthouse are both within walking distance if you want to make a morning of it.
