Next to The Silo café at Wainford, just outside Bungay, a wood-fired sauna sits on a private island in the River Waveney, reached by a short walk through the woods or by canoe or paddleboard. Bookings are private, for two to six, and some add a campfire or a picnic. Wednesday evenings bring Evening Embers, shared sessions for women. There’s a cold bucket shower rather than a hot one.
