Mersea Sauna is a six-seat Scandinavian-style cabin heated by wood to between 80 and 100°C, and its usual base is Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre on Crosby Marine Lake. Between rounds you cool off in a cold tub, and bookings include the centre’s changing rooms and toilets. Crosby beach and the Sefton coast are just beyond the lake.
