The Hoxa Tapestry Gallery is a weaving studio and gallery on South Ronaldsay, where you can see large handwoven tapestries drawing on Orkney’s land, light and legend — big, richly coloured pieces made on the loom on site. It’s a genuine working studio rather than a slick attraction, so it’s worth checking the opening days and hours before you drive out to Hoxa.
