Laura and Joe, a Cumbrian couple, started Fellside Sauna in 2024 after Laura tried a lakeshore sauna in Wānaka, New Zealand. This unit stands in the grounds of Another Place, The Lake, a minute’s walk from a jetty into Ullswater, and shared sessions take up to eight people. It spent summer 2026 at Patterdale and came back here in September.
