Fairy Bridge is a plain old stone bridge at a road junction in Waternish, better known for its story than its looks. This, the MacLeod legend goes, is where a chief parted from his fairy wife, who left behind the famous Fairy Flag now kept at Dunvegan Castle. It sits right at the A850/B886 fork — an easy pause on the way out to Waternish or on towards Dunvegan.
