Discovery Point is the waterfront museum built around RRS Discovery, the ship that carried Captain Scott and Ernest Shackleton to the Antarctic on the 1901 expedition. She was launched in Dundee that same year, and after decades away came home to a custom dock here in the 1990s. You can go aboard and tour the ship along with the museum galleries; entry is paid. Dundee station is right next door, about 300m west.
