Chambers Farm Wood
Local highlightApproximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.
A surviving patch of ancient limewood east of Lincoln, Chambers Farm Wood is best known for its butterflies. A dedicated butterfly garden near the car park is planted to draw them in through the summer, and waymarked trails run out through the trees and old coppice. It’s free and open all year, with easier surfaced paths near the entrance for a short loop.
