Approximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.
The Aberglaslyn Pass runs south from Beddgelert, where the Afon Glaslyn forces through a wooded gorge below steep crags. The Fisherman’s Path picks along the water’s edge, scrambling over rock in a couple of spots, while the Welsh Highland Railway threads the far bank. It makes a good short loop from the village. Porthmadog is about 8km on down the valley.
