Sygun is a restored Victorian copper mine in the Gwynant valley near Beddgelert, abandoned around the turn of the last century and reopened as a visitor attraction. A self-guided audio tour leads through the old workings, past stalactites and copper-stained chambers, and comes out to a view over the valley. Admission; the underground route has steps and low passages.
