Olga Polizzi restored a cluster of St Mawes houses into this elegant waterfront hotel, where the restaurant keeps things simple, with fresh fish landed locally and cooked plainly, served against views over the water to St Anthony’s Lighthouse. Lunch here sits well alongside a wander round St Mawes and its Tudor castle, or a stretch of the South West Coast Path.
