The odd name comes from Hercules, a prizewinning racehorse kept by the Dixie family of Market Bosworth in the 1700s. The pub is a 17th-century coaching inn in Sutton Cheney, reworked as a dining pub, and it’s an easy walk from Bosworth Battlefield where Richard III fell in 1485. Open to customers; food and local ales.
