Am Fuaran is the community-run bar for the Coigach peninsula, sitting at Altandhu just above Old Dornie harbour, so the seafood on the menu hasn’t come far. Getting here means a run of single-track roads out past Achiltibuie, with the Summer Isles lying offshore. A welcoming stop in a very quiet corner northwest of Ullapool.
