At the end of the single-track road through Coigach, the Summer Isles Hotel looks out from Achiltibuie to the scatter of little islands that give it its name. Bar and restaurant both trade on the view and the local seafood. It’s a long, slow drive in and it opens seasonally, so plan the trip — but the Summer Isles are worth it.
