Torhouse Stone is one of ten stone circles the Albion Guide lists in Dumfries and Galloway. It is looked after by Historic Environment Scotland. Other ancient sites nearby include Drumtroddan cup-and-ring rocks, Big Balcraig cup-and-ring rocks and Drumtroddan standing stones.
