The Teifi Pools are a cluster of natural lakes high on the moor at around 1,500 feet, near where the River Teifi rises, above Pontrhydfendigaid. A rough road climbs most of the way up, and open-access paths link the pools. It’s bare, boggy hill country popular with trout anglers and walkers; there’s no shelter, so pick your weather before heading up.
