Tucked into the west side of Hampstead Heath, this Edwardian pergola was built for the soap magnate Lord Leverhulme, who wanted a covered walk linking his two properties. Restored and opened to the public in 1991, it’s now free to wander daily from mid-morning until dusk: a long colonnade of stone columns and wisteria above a sunken garden, with views out over the Heath. Fenton House and Kenwood are both a short walk away.
