Humphry Repton called this his most favourite work, and the landscape he laid out from 1812 still runs much as he drew it — a curving drive, parkland and a temple, with a gazebo giving out to the sea. The wild garden holds a nationally important collection of rhododendrons, best from mid-May into June. National Trust; paid parking, grounds open all year. Sheringham station is under 3km away.
