Beeston Bump
Local highlightJust east of Sheringham, the coast path climbs a steep grassy hill thrown up by the last ice age — Beeston Bump. The summit holds the concrete base of a wartime Y-station, a secret listening post that took down German naval signals to feed Bletchley Park. It’s a short, sharp pull to the top for a wide view over the sea and cliffs. Sheringham station is about a kilometre west.
