Marchants is a nursery and garden Graham Gough planted at Laughton from 1997, known among gardeners for bold naturalistic drifts of perennials and grasses, with a nursery selling the same hardy plants. It opens Thursday to Saturday from spring to mid-October, though it’s worth checking ahead before travelling. Berwick station is about 6km to the south.
