Longstock Park Water Garden is part of the Leckford Estate, the Hampshire farm owned by the John Lewis Partnership, and is rated among the finest water gardens in Europe, with lakes and islands threaded by planted channels. It opens only on selected Sunday afternoons in summer, so check the dates before going. The estate’s Longstock Park Farm Shop is open year-round nearby. Andover station is about 8km north.
