Eaton Park is Norwich’s largest historic park, laid out from 1924 by Captain Sandys-Winsch and officially opened by the Prince of Wales in 1928. The centrepiece is a striking domed rotunda with a copper roof, set among formal lawns, lakes and a miniature railway. It’s free to walk in at any time, with tennis courts, bowling greens and a café for when you need a break. Norwich station is about 3.5km to the east.
