Bosvigo is a small walled garden behind a Georgian house on the edge of Truro, planted for hot summer colour — reds, oranges and deep purples through its herbaceous borders — with a shadier woodland area of hellebores earlier in the year. It’s a private garden open on limited days in the season, so check before setting out. Truro station is barely a few hundred metres away.
