Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage HQ sits above the Axe Valley, an organic farm given over to seasonal cooking, courses and bistro nights, with a kitchen and store carrying its own and trusted local produce. The River Axe and its nature reserve lie close by for a walk, as does the Iron Age hillfort of Musbury Castle to the west.
