A small family vineyard at Great Bardfield, growing Bacchus and Pinot Noir on the north Essex slopes. There’s a shop, and guided tours finish with a tasting. Worth pairing with a wander round the village itself, one of the prettiest in the county and once home to a circle of well-known artists.
