A small Norman church of about 1100, Holy Trinity sits in a quiet fold of the hills below Bewick Moor, a little apart from Old Bewick itself. It’s a simple apsed building that has kept its early shape despite later repairs. Left open in the day, it makes a good pause on a walk up onto the moor.
