Sanna is the big one — a sweep of white sand and machair dunes at the far western end of Ardnamurchan, with the Small Isles filling the horizon. It’s a long, slow single-track drive out past the lighthouse turn, but the beach is stunning and rarely busy. Park at the road-end and walk in, and bring supplies, because there’s nothing out here.
