Portuairk Beach
Local highlightPortuairk is a sheltered sandy cove near the western tip of Ardnamurchan, reached at the end of a narrow single-track road off the B8007. It’s a tiny crofting settlement with a lovely bit of beach, close to Ardnamurchan Point. Take care on the road down — it’s steep and single-track — and don’t expect any facilities out here.
