Monkstone Beach is a quiet sandy cove tucked between Saundersfoot and Tenby, reachable only on foot from the coast path — a steepish scramble down keeps most people away. At high tide the sand shrinks to almost nothing, so it’s best a couple of hours either side of low water. Tenby station is about 3km to the south.
