Saundersfoot grew as a harbour for shipping local anthracite coal, and the sheltered basin is now full of pleasure boats and backed by a wide sandy beach. A path north through old tramway tunnels cut in the cliffs leads towards Wiseman’s Bridge and Amroth. It’s a short walk or drive down the coast to Tenby. The station is about 2km inland to the north-west.
